I know what it's like to love someone struggling with addiction - I've lived it. Growing up with alcoholism and later facing it in my marriage, I tried everything to "fix" the problem... and sacrificed my own wellbeing in the process. It was yoga and mindfulness that truly transformed my own recovery journey during the darkest days of my life. That's when my mission became clear: to bring these powerful tools to families navigating addiction's impact.
Today, I'm a certified Family Recovery Coach, Invitation to Change workshop leader, Happy for No Reason® certified trainer, and Mental Health First Aid and trauma-informed yoga instructor. I combine lived experience with evidence-based training to help families move from exhausted bystanders to empowered catalysts for change. My approach integrates mindfulness practices with proven family recovery strategies.
